Acrylic Terrarium

I just found a 125 gallon acrylic fish that someone was giving away and I intend to make a snake tank, perhaps, but you can use an acrylic tank for a terrarium ? And can you use the heat pad under the tank or is it not working for acrylic?

An acrylic tank that work well as a terrarium, which includes using a heat mat under the tank. The accompanying article recommends that carpet head out of the tank, and if you use a loose substrate you put a newspaper on the bottom of the glass if the snake will not bury the rug burn you.
