Not when you get used to them. I chopped 3 goldwing and they are much easier to drive then being 20 feet in the air on the stock ...
Go sit in a bin, then raise your hands above your head ... If you think this is a convenient and efficient to ride, then you have your answer.
If you're just lowering the seat, it will be easier. feet closer to the ground. It usually other things that make them difficult to climb. Lying forks, Big Time Fat Tire Fat shows etc etc
