Arctic Cat snowmobile breaks in case of tension? 1998 600 efi Arctic Cat Powder Special, it seems to idle fine and run at low speeds, but when I'm on it starts to break really bad. we checked the catch and put air in the fuel as prescribed by the Arctic Cat dealer, but he still seems to be a little. We used air conditioner brand Heet. We also checked the fuel filters, but they were also good. im am in Maine and they have ethanol fuel with a new content of 10 percent that is the problem? if so are there other additives that will help. also ran for three days without any problem and this problem came from nowhere. a passer suggest it may be a valve on the fuel pump, not sure what they are talking.
Mine broke under pressure
Check the pulse line. It is a small rubber hose that goes between the crankcase and the fuel pump. If it is damaged, it will not boost (pressure) of the membrane of the fuel pump. The pressure in the crankcase beats the diaphragm and fuel because petrol pumps.
