As an artist who has used advertising in pet shows, I am familiar with the bird fanciers and those who have a variety of parrots. Do not be a bird owner myself, I really liked the pets of others, and I learned a thing or two about how to save money on supplies. Here are some tips to reduce your bills for cages, toys and other important items related to birds.

Every city in the United States and perhaps worldwide, has bird amateur clubs of various types. Some are broad in scope, such as avian societies, clubs birds or bird fanciers associations. Others are more specific, such as clubs conure, cockatoo lovers, etc. Usually you can find out where your local clubs by contacting the sites found on the Internet, a local store for pets, or the yellow pages. Call or write the contact number for each club and ask when their shows are, and if they are open to the public. The greatest show, the better. Many bird clubs or societies have at least a great show, sometimes two, every year. There is shown even greater, as the annual meetings of clubs shows many birds usually held in major cities, generally known as national exhibitions, conventions or other names. If these shows are open to the public, they are where you will usually see a more diverse range of exhibitors.

Going to a basic show of local birds, you'll encounter bird breeders selling babies hand-fed parrots and other Hookbill or of different types. In addition, you will find bird supply vendors, sales generally cages, toys, feed, and more. In addition, there is usually an artist or two around, selling t-shirts or handmade items with other birds as themes. I used to see the magazine sellers birds at different shows and the sale of their publications at substantial discounts. The birds are on the screen, it is amusing to see the showcase of beautiful parrots, generally strutting their orders to their audience (especially cockatoos, beautiful birds which are certainly love the attention, in my opinion ).

The best day to go to a show Sunday, normally the last day. At this time there may be auctions (where supplies tend to be considerably lower in price) and sellers are starting to put their goods as the day progresses, to avoid having to pack everything when they leave. At the very end, prices are really stood out in some kiosks. With seeds, toys and cages are normally very expensive, it is better to wait and get these discounts.

Even for those of us without birds as pets, animal shows are entertaining, and worth it. It's fun for the whole family, there is refreshment there, and bird breeders or owners love to talk to others about their babies later birds. Who knows, you might even decide to go ahead and get your own parrot. If I did not like cats, I have a few myself. Take a chance, get involved and spend a day at a society event flu. You will not be disappointed and may even learn a thing or two about parrots and other birds. A good way to show the family a good time and learn some birds colorful and fun.
