I just discovered that my aquarium fish fry at the bottom, what should I do? should I separate it and transfer to another container? I am afraid to pick them up because they are so little and lying at the bottom of the aquarium. What should I feed them? Do I always turn off the light?

You can use the same food flake if you use this ... to feed .. it must be powdered, but very small chunks.
Depending on the breed, they can be very good in the tank, if only the parents are there. If it is a reservoir of the community .. they will surely be devoured ... Again according to race.

You must separate for there survival (or other fish eating). It is almost certain that many of them will die, but few will survive. Go to your local pet store and they have a special food for the fry

Yes. If your fish are carnivores, you will not have to worry much. But again, I saw mice kill their child.

that the fish were already in your tank??? Do you know who came from the fish fry???

Do not break because r fry too weak to stay with other fish

Best of transferring or putting a sort of barrier between the big fish (they eat the babies) and babies, babies in motion on one side.

A sort of barrier, where water can flow through, but the fish can not swim through.

no matter what the big fish eat little fish put a lot of rocks or fake plants to hide in do not change the water for some time or the transport of larger fish in a tank of diff, if you do not want to spend the babies dividers to sell if u want to part with a tank nother settin

Yes, delete them. Buy a fine net and maybe another tank, if u need one or you can buy a net selection that you place on the water surface and thus babies are protected, but also in the tank. And if the parent needs a heater so that you babies. Feed them fish flakes, but the grind so that they are small or you can buy the flakes that are already tiny. Make sure there is a shelter where u keep the babies'. When you say "Do I always turn off the light" do you mean turn it off at nite? What do you mean?

separate them and if u go to PetStore they fry

hey. I had the same thing happens. You have to separate them. unless you do not want. But it's an interesting experience to keep them. you can put them in a container, but I recommend placing them in a selection box in you tank. I prefer plastic. I use plastic for my fries and I liked it much better than my net.

ok and I can tell you what to feed them. there is this food called first bites you give them. his powder etc.. And they actually eat. I feed my fry. I'll give you a link to it.

Oh and I forgot. using the Net to separate them is very good. they die or are injured.
Here is the link to the food I use and recommend ...

good luck with it. it gets interesting when they grow up to be bigger.

It depends on the fish. Many cichlids are actually protecting their offspring. The prisoners, for example, try to bite your hand if you stick it in there. If this is not a cichlid, try a turkey baster, but be careful.
