British Short Hair Rescue

British Short Hair RescueHow do I get my cats to get along? We just saved a Seal Lynx Point Siamese Applehead.?

Our two British Short Hair cats are hissing. One of the cats in his flat attack, his hunting, and fell behind the sofa. British short hair are supposed to be non-aggressive, but ours are very territorial. How much can I bring cats? All online articles on the subject?

Oh, you have a little snowtiger! How adorable!
You have to introduce them slowly. Put the new baby in a room behind closed doors. That kitten sniff each other for a few days, swat each other under the door, etc. It all territories, as you said, it will take an adjustment period - and it takes some time then you will be both vigilant and patient. However, the catnip is a wonderful thing! Get the blissed on catnip and they are less aggressive - driving too busy and softens all. Basically, it's just trial and error with a lot of monitoring and intervention and TIME. That the older kittens know that you have a new baby - and she's yours. Also, make a point of giving lots more kittens from the attention so they do not feel left out. Lots of praise when they anywhere near each other without being aggressive, intervention and grumble when they do.
Good luck.

Put them both in cat carriers and put next to each other tha way they can get used to eachother without being able to attack each other. Also get a damp cloth and rub on one of the cats and then rub the fabric on the other cat so that their mixture togrther odors and they smell the same.

Since cats are territorial, you must introduce them slowly. Keep Themines different parts until they get used to another flavor. They learn through a screen door. There is no guarantee that they will never agree, however.

In my experience when cats first meet if the cats are more territorial then established they will fight a little. After a few days most cats recover and calm down. If your cats continue fighting after a week or so you might have a problem.

It is difficult to predict how cats will react to a new in the house. Generally, it is recommended that you isolate the new cat in a room by herself and introduce them gradually. There is no guarantee that they will end up being best friends, but they should at least learn to tolerate each other. Here is an article very well ....
Good luck!

introduce them slowly and they are finally going to have our things work themselves.

I have the same problem, except for me, it's the opposite. My four months tabby loves to hunt my 2 years old black cat around the house. we only had six days and it is already so attached to it. but it only whistled to him and wants nothing to do with him. Today, I noticed she is not much hiss at him when he gets up and attacks her. is a kind of problem for me because my cat is not declawed, and my cat is. put them in separate rooms for a while, and then supervise them when you think it is time for them to see each other. rub them with the same smell of something, like a dry leaf would be great. Fortunately I have not had to do with my cats, because for some reason my wife is not very territorial nothing. it is a lazy house cat but if she does not care. but my mom read it and told me about it. give them time and be patient !!!!!. Your kitten is not used to its new environment and your other cats are not used to it and thinks it's invading their domain. Please put them in separate rooms if, before your kitten is injured or worse. and believe me, it works. I almost tried it on my cats because I was so desperate the first two days. Good luck! ^ - ^

did you separate? is the new c.
