Cat Behavior

Cat Behaviorcat behavior?

I saved a cat. It is six months old and is fixed within a week or two. This cat is the best thing for me and my little boy, and mostly to my husband. When my husband sleeps in the cat cuddles him and most of the time will let my husband pet and love on him, but other times it stractchs and bites. This weekend, he latched on and had to be forced from the leg of my husband. I have two cats (two saves) the other cat is a female and not fixed it. I've never had a cat that. What could be the cause of behavior???

The husband will receive the injection at the doctor looked at it today.
Cat goes to the vet and get checked and corrected.

Sounds like the cat is just playing. My husband likes to play a little rough with our cat and it scratched and bit more. Ask your husband, spend some time each day just to caress her, no rough play and the kitten should calm down over time.

it is still a kitten, he may be teething and / or play. they can sometimes be tough.

I just moved into a new state last year and has adopted two cats when I got here. One of mine is a little older than you, but it does exactly the same thing. It is the most cuddly cat I ever had love in my life but in the midst of hugs and cuddles with it purrs, it will all of a sudden turn around and bite and bite hard enough to draw the blood mostly.

I have no idea who the people that I passed these two or the way they treated cats. I guess that both (my cat and yours) may have had trauma before we have them and that makes them a bit schizo.

I just shrink it bites until I know she will not bite .... more I never yell at her or punish her, because I think it would make him even more tense. Maybe the cats have been mistreated before (yours, perhaps by a man .... so he's going after your husband and nobody else) and that is why they do that. Anyway, I just walk back until it seems to have calmed down, which is usually just a few seconds, then continue to stroke. It sounds like a lot more after she realized that everything I'm doing is his love.

Hi Gin,
Cats usually respond to noise and sudden movements in an aggressive manner. I think it is a common behavior, because they are so sensitive.

I have a 9 year old cat and it bit me on several occasions. With this 9 years I learned what she likes and dislikes. I know there are ways, it does not work as animal welfare, I avoid doing what it is annoying.

Give your new kitten a while, you have to know.

Carolina.

Here is a quote that I found on the site annotated below. It sets out a theory I have heard several times before cat behaviorist, and the only conclusion I can believe, be a cat person for a long time myself. This is essentially how they overstimulated pleasurable sensations.

"Cats often become excited quickly. Do not bite that its rejection of yourself or as proof of his being a cat" bad. "He just had a touch more physical than he can handle and he tries to you arrested. It seems that drag the leg coming out of nowhere, like many cats have very subtle signs that they are nearing the end.

Things to look for even subtle VEEEERRRRRRRRRYYYYYYYYYY are:

His ears were fixed in direction, probably slightly back or flattened;
His mustache back up or down slightly.
He waves his fur.
His eyes squint down.

In the language of cats are very openly about these signs he'e maximum. In fact, it will not all yelling at him or hit him, that he merely not respond well to you in the future - will eventually.
