Cat Eating Problems

my cat is going to cry and bring me to his bowl, but then he sat me and so I put more food in the bowl and water, but it takes like bites and walks away. it wieghs 11 pounds and hes 5 years. why does he do that?

My cat does Ginny. T he "meow" for you to open the door and then stay there if you can not close the door? Does it wait until you're almost asleep, then make funny noises coo-ing in his throat and watch the corner of the room? (Good luck trying to get back to sleep then!).
