Cat Insurance

Cat InsuranceCat Insurance?

My cat is toungue Kenny is halfway to death and i cannot afford to take her to the ER I am trying to find a cat insurance that will help me to help him now. I know there is not help you, but there must be something I can do to help.

Thank you for reading,
Libby

All insurance policies for pets do not cover conditions that already exist in the cat, if present illness Kenny will not be covered even after the initial period of non-claim.

My suggestion is to make a few phone calls to the cat rescue and shelter organizations, and explain the situation.

Tell them that you can not afford to pay now. Many of these organizations will be happy to set up a payment plan with you - they appreciate that an animal needs help now and that there are people who are not in a financial position to pay the argues that the veterinary treatment can be very expensive.

All the best for you, and of course Kenny.

EDIT: what kind of questions almost inevitably attract responses by saying "if you can not pay a vet not a cat" - please do not let this kind of comment that upset you - it is very Clearly much you care for your cat and do your best to get help.

Unfortunately most insurance companies will not pay for treatment for at least 30 days after the policy begins. Can you come to an agreement with your veterinarian to pay in installments? In the United Kingdom, there are places like the Blue Cross and the SPCA who might be able to help. If the United States, have you tried the SPCA?

You can try ASPCA insurance. Go to ASPCA.org.
Insurance costs are about $ 11-23 per month for a cat.
It will cover 80% of your medical expences.
