Cat Rescue shelter ..? This is not exactly a question of cat, but ..
I would really like to work in an emergency shelter as a work done.
Is it even possible to get a job in a shelter?
Or is that Volunteer?
Or does anyone have any suggestions where I could easily find a job that has this kind of work?
This is actually what I do with my life .. but I can not afford to work as a volunteer at this point.
call your local shelter and find out.
You can get a job in a shelter. the best option is to call and ask. However, most rescues are operated and supported by volunteers. If you can not get a job in a shelter to consider finding employment elsewhere where voluntary and at least an hour a week in a shelter or rescue, giving you time to discover if working with animal is your path.
Some centers humane paying jobs. Most rescue operations are volunteers. Call your local animal shelter or City Run of human society to see. How about a job at a boarding animals?
Although volunteers provide a lot of much needed assistance in the shelters, there are full-time workers there. I do not know exactly what area you are referring to, but if you really like to work in a shelter, I suggest you follow a medical background or knowledge in the field of domestic animals. You have an awesome dream! I hope one day I'll be able to open my own store of conservation ...
Most shelters I know are volenters PetSmart BT the best thing :-)
Welcome to the world of adults. You'll probably need a job that pays in the meantime (unless you can afford to be at home full time and volunteers), because most animal shelters rescue places / operate on a tight budget. The few who are full-time are usually paid in either a veterinarian or the Warden that the administration or, eventually, the office staff (who are generally underpaid for this type of position) . Most of the money must go to paying for food and medical supplies.
