Common Pet Snakes

Common Pet SnakesAre there any common pet snakes that can survive on crickets or non-living?

I really want a small snake pet, but I will not eat mice. I agree with feeding crickets, but I can not make me eat mice. The snake needs to small and medium size, non-hazardous and can be found and ordered in a pet store.

I am sorry to say, but if you do not feel like you can feed your snake mouse, then a snake is not for you. Snakes need all the nutrients they receive from the mouse, but you can get frozen / thawed mice in pet shops is considered a much more humane diet. All you have to do is thaw frozen mice that you buy and you can give the snake. If it is still too much for you, then I recommend a lizard like a leopard gecko or a bearded dragon who are happy about the bugs and vegetables and pet reptiles are always sweet ... If you go with a good snake, corn snake goes with your first one there are big eaters, very friendly, and all snakes Hardy. Good luck with everything.

you can get the garter snakes, they eat fish spear you can buy frozen make sure to thaw them out, or there is the rough green snake that feeds on crickets just sprinkle with vitimens

Sorry, there are none.
Here in the United Kingdom it is illegal to feed live animals to other animals, so you just go to your local reptile and buy a bag of frozen mouse the size you want. You thaw them in a little hot water, and go.

One person suggested snakes as they eat fish, but I'd like to steer clear of this species as a first snake, because they care needs size.

I hope it helps
