Discus Fish Seattle

Discus Fish SeattleCan someone help me set up my aquarium discussion?

OK, I just bought an aquarium 55 gallons, and a plan to get about 6 fish discus.
but first I want to grow plants adapted to live in the tank, if someone experienced please
provide a list of live plants that can go with my records, and the temperature is ideal for fish and plants. and what kind of light that I can use. btw I live in Seattle, where can I get this plant?
Thank you

Discus as hot acid water. I keep all sorts of plants in mine. I keep my pH at about 6 and my temp about 84. I have swords, ferns, lily pads, etc. in my tank and they seem to tolerate the water conditions I have set for my records very well.

Unless you go to buy mature adult discus better keep your tank as a tank bottom bare. Because you must change the water every day to make them grow properly. and also put in medicine once a month to keep them healthy.

Keeping Discus is not the same as keeping the other fish. They need a lot of time and money. Better read a lot and join some forums before buying Discus Discus. A simple mistake and you lose all your Discus tank. They are a kind of wonderful fish to keep but it takes a lot of work and money.
