Question about your opinion on English riding clothes? So I've been riding for Awil, and so far the best thing that worked for me for riding chaps is full. My zipper busted so now im with chaps. Arnt and high boots really comfortable to ride in because it is difficult to move your ankles. My question is your experience, what works best for you riding? Thank you!
I could test the chapters in their own right since 1970. I hate riding chaps. I always wear my boots paddock.
I have a very expensive pair of boots that I use only large to show, and I ride in the two days before a performance to get the feel.
If there is a place near you that do shoe repair, they can probably replace your zipper.
Well, I always wear long boots, I find that those who have the zip up the back as comfortable
For boots I love height, they are uncomfortable at first but once broken they are the best!
I hated all means guys open, I found that I could not move and give the horse the right clues.
But I love my chaps! they are sooo comfortable if you have a pair of elastic, they are amazing, they hold you up, but you can move.
Well, I understand what you feel. I wear panties or jodhups Whatever U Want to call them, but I like them r really comfortable and beautiful appearance. they can b expensive if I suggest u ask around and see if anyone has extras or older who do not match. I got mine from my riding instructor for free. Of course, they could be charged to your right, but if the bear to climb not to show its been better since they r so broken in. I also wear my pants with chaps. You have so you do not have to worry about buying them but yeah they r really helpful for me. I also wear normal riding boots, not high boots (I'm 13 and shows u can and must be according to wear high boots after you are 13) I wear a shirt depending weather. I wear a few old shirts that I would not wear to school. Well, I hope this helps
Fun riding
I'd say boots, it depends on the brand you buy and what type of leather they are made. If you look at the Challenger Ariat boots leather that is used is so soft. They are a bit more expensive but they last much longer than low prices or a more comfortable and even elegant.
ahh I wear full pads and roll of the West!
I used to wear long riding boots, but you're right, they do get into bad habits with your ankles. I have now got chaps and short riding boots, which I think look better anyway.
I always wear boots when riding round and I use a half-chaps. We really need to find the brand that suits you best. I used guys open, but they were a concern, so I started with a half-chaps. I only use high boots when I show that I look nice.
Half-zip boots up!

Personally, I wear full chaps and tennis shoes, because the guys give me a FULL handle a lot more guys and a half and I just found tennis shoes most comfortable!
1. high boots for me. I hate riding boots and chaps paddock /.
2. It depends on what horse I'm riding and how I'm lazy that day. lol. Sometimes I just put my chaps on my converse and sometimes I put my boots on the paddock.
I like to wear chaps and two high boots. Just to break in. However high boots, chaps you wear boots paddock. You can wear sneakers, but I would not recommend it for these reasons:
If you jump your feet can easily be slipped out of stirrups
You can get your foot stuck without heel
If your horse ghosts, you exit easier
Do not wear shoes unless you trail riding ... OR NOT AT ALL!
Short boots with.
