Exotic Animals For Sale In Texas

Hello all. I used to live in Africa for 5 years and I had a pet monkey Talapoin was by far one of my favorite animals. I now live in Texas, so you can imagine, it is not so easy to find exotic animals for sale. I was wondering if someone could help me know where to look online for monkeys for sale. I have seen websites that sell exotic animals / monkeys, but I have not yet found Talapoin available for sale. Anyone know where I could find one?

I think you start to know if it's even legal where you live. Importing monkeys (particularly Africa) is either illegal or highly regulated.

They need their own species - a creature very social space clean, and specialized diets - to deny them this is my opinion, unfair and cruel.
Unless you're going to build a large enclosure in the garden and talk to zoo keepers and a specialist about their care to think twice if you like to own one. Too many monkeys of different species are found in the wrong hands each year.

It is an organization that trains monkeys to assist disabled people. But when the monkeys grow older, they retire and they need homes that people can adopt. There should be information on the site on how to do it. There is a long questionnaire and it is a grueling process. I asked once, but since I work from home and was gone for a lot of hours during the day, I was not allowed to adopt one.
