I would not call it bad, but you should be very careful. Animals in PetStore (im assuming your talking about as fish) are not raised for food. This means that they have been vaccinated, the pet food and other things that can not be good for your body, the meat will probably taste bad too! It is dangerous and unhealthy. You need to get used to life in America and realize that many things that are legal in your country are not legal here. I'm sure there are many legal issues with eating animals and petstore.
Instead, try to visit your country a lot, cook food from your culture with things easily available at grocery stores in the U.S., listen to music and rent movies. There are many ways to feel at home without killing innocent animals.

I'll have to say no. I work with people from different countries and they go to the pet store to buy candy all the time. To each their own.
