Waterbirds include swamp partridge, bar-headed goose, whistling teal, the Bengal florican, storks, herons and even pelicans. The best time to see the park is from November to March. The park remains closed from April to mid-October.

Manas National Park

Manas National Park is nestled in the foothills of the Himalayas with a party located on the territory of Bhutan. The picturesque landscape of wildlife attracts the most fans for a ride to Manas National Park . Covering an area of 520 sq km, this park is most famous for its population of tigers. It is the Wild Animal Park in Assam, which is the project Tiger. Besides tigers, one horned rhino, wild boar, pork Deer are here. Pygmy hogs, Assam roof turtle, hispid Hare are some animals that are found only in Manas National Park. Other birds are often seen Fowls, nightingales, Brahminy Ducks and hornbills Gray. The park is located near Guwahati. The best safaris are available here. You can enjoy an elephant safari or a boat safari in the Manas River. These safaris are for a period of three hours. Nameri National Park

Nameri National Park covers an area of 200sq. km and is located on the foothills of the eastern Himalayas. The park is the second Tiger reserve of Assam. This national park is a refuge for many rare animals like the tiger, black bear, elephant, leopard, Clouded Leopard, Indian Bison, Pangolin, Indian wild dog, deer, civet cat, Capped Langur and jackals so many species of birds such as the endangered white winged wood duck, four species of hornbills, butterflies and reptiles are also found here. Nameri is also famous for Golden Masheer, which has made this place a paradise for wildlife lovers. <.
