My friend connected a chip and a check processing for our puppy, but it is for puppies / dogs 46-50 pounds. My dog is only 10 pounds. Can I still use it on?

Please return it to the appropriate size. I work in a hospital emergency veterinary and often see toxic reactions to the use bad products.

No, it can do if the puppy sick. Keep it until it is over, or exchange it against something appropriate for his weight.
