Gecko Reptile

So, my leopard gecko baby just ate seven baby crickets. The problem is that every time he misses or snatches of a frog's mouth gets stuck on the carpet of reptiles, but coming off in about 5 seconds and it happens every time he eats a cricket. I use calcium sand. It is edible, so if he misses it sounds crazy to see him get a mouthful of sand, but it actually helps the digestion of food and consumer subsidies and calcium.
