Gecko Reptile

Gecko ReptileBaby leopard gecko reptile carpet glued?

So, my leopard gecko baby just ate seven baby crickets. The problem is that every time he misses or snatches of a frog's mouth gets stuck on the carpet of reptiles, but coming off in about 5 seconds and it happens every time he eats a cricket. What should I do? Is it normal or should I switch to something else?

do not listen the first person on the calcisand. yet, just take some paper towels and use them for a while until he gets used to eating very well. repticarpet is fine for the old Leos, like mine. paper towels are highly recommended because they are easy to clean and do not lose. Try this ...

Good luck! =)

I use calcium sand. It is edible, so if he misses it sounds crazy to see him get a mouthful of sand, but it actually helps the digestion of food and consumer subsidies and calcium. It is kind of expensive but it works and they seem to enjoy using it as bedding and it gets warm from what you have as a heat source. I recommend a hot rock myself, also helps digestion as well. Baby Dust crickets with calcium dust once a week until the young can go to once a month as an adult over nine months, you can go to once every four months! Good luck .. Handle carefully drop their tails if threatened!

whether it is a baby then it is quite normal! leapard my gecko has too ... after some weeks he does so perfectly (although its accuracy Whent down about 10%), it is still learning. when your gecko leapard is about 1 year and if he does not get stuck to the mat over the sand to change it more comfortable ...

it is quite funny to watch a snake stick it!
and not in the way wicked
