Is a hutch allowed under a "ferret out of area? I have a chance to get a hutch hand for free, and I wonder if this is allowed under a ferret outside a playground.
I looked on Google for pictures of different types, and they all seem to have an "open" area (which means you can see), and a closed area.
Would you be allowed as part of a ferret outside space? Not exactly how big it is, but I'm assuming a decent work "in size
Yes, it should go. Make sure when you biuld outdoor space for ferrets there is something hard like cement underneath and not just dirt, as ferrets are burrowing and escape.
In addition, depending on where you live, I would not recommend keeping ferrets out all the time because 1) they can not survive high temperatures (anything above 80 is dangerous) and 2) wild animals (or even domestic cats and dogs) can and learn to kill and ferrets. (
ferret hunting rabbits in the wild. Ferrets are angry that they cannot get to the rabbit and the rabbit will be scared to death.
I'm sure a ferret would be outdoors in a protected environment, just be aware of the size of the steel used as ferrets can get in and out of tight areas. Enjoy.
