Hans Macaw

Hans MacawAfrican Grey or Hans macaw as a pet?

Hello I do not know what bird out of a African Grey, Amazon macaw Hans. I am one who likes to cuddle, scartched taken for readers and am not sure with the African Grey owners can all African gray response and tell me what they believe to be an owner of Gray ' Africa.

Well, I am the mother of an African Grey named Willow. He was born in 2000. I got it when he was 4 and 1 / 2 mos old. I also have a blue-fronted Amazon. I think the choice is yours. All birds have their own personality. If you want a talker, so I'd say gray. The Amazons are also good talkers. Mine does not say a word, it will whistle. but that's all. It is a bet on a bird, I fear, to speak, and being a big bird. They are like children, you never really know how it will be personality. My gray started talking to 9 MOS. and has not closed since. Hee-Hee ... It is a great bird. But this is my vocabulary ... Amazon Willows is hundreds and hundreds of words, a real boy brite talkative. said sentences, simple words and mixes his words constantly make new sentences. But Amazon is also known to be good talkers. Mine is not ... It is an extraordinary bird, despite not saying a word. So, do your homework and choose the bird that pulls on your heart. It is ... Get a hand raised very young baby, you bond with your new bird, and all will be good ... Good luck in your search birdie ...

The best bird I've ever contributed to was an African Grey. However, they did reach a person in general. If you have children or families who want to participate in the bird can not be the best choice. The worst I've ever encountered birds were macaws. They are noisy and not at all cuddlely. Perhaps there are more pleasant macaws there but I've never met one. The Amazons are pretty cool. They are broadly neutral in between. Have you considered a parrot. They are very kind, but not quite the vocabulary of the African Grey. Thus the African Grey is not usually a howler. Mostly they just talk much. Most other birds go crazy making loud shrieking noises. Good luck. I miss the African Grey that I raised 10 years ago. I will never forget.

Hello,

The best way I found to choose a bird is down to a breeder and let the bird you choose. There will be a limit immediate and worthwhile.

A Grey is the most intelligent of birds, it is true. But if you move a lot or change in its environment. Gray is a nervous bird so special consideration for the transfer of this bird.

Amazon is a very fun and make you laugh all day. But they love to look back and be cuddled. Make sure you get a woman here, the male tends to be aggressive at times.

Han, a bird is good, but it tends to be a little chilly sometimes you really have to work with this type of training him.

The gray, I think the best answer. But if it's beyond your buget then try a Meyers Parrot. This guy is a little known jewel of the parrot world ..
