What is an easy and effective way to clean brushes horse? ? My horse brushes are a mess. I tried soaking, but it is sticky in bristles.Any ideas would be appreciated.
I use a bucket of warm or hot water and put a package of sparkling Brush Cleaner ($ 8 for two of SmartPak) in him with my dirty brushes and let them soak for about 8 minutes. Then let air dry (preferably in the sun). You can even take a comb after soaking brushes and combs leftover dirt / hair. This stuff works great! Hope that helps: -)
Wash them with warm water and add a little shampoo on horseback, and rub!
I used really thick combs, like the ones you use in the shower, to stand between the tufts of hair.
There are also products to tack shops that you turn off the brushes in reducing any dirt. I also had a successful post a half-bottle of Dawn in a bucket and add water, and soak the brushes completely submerged for several days. Then I turn to full throttle on the pipe (near mode power washer) and the breath of all the junk away.
I usually take two brushes and rubbing very quickly this way, it loosens the dirt and dust and things he could try to work
Washing and harvesting, thats really all there, but if you use alcohol to wash it helps!
Happy Cleaning!

OK, I soaked in bleach mine. they are just brushes, so it does not matter what they look like (if color in bulk), but never mine. use a mixture of half and half, half water. bleach kills bacteria and viruses. Then take a comb mane and brush through the bristles, and most must be eliminated. (Sticky)

Try using a metal dog comb to pry the hair matted. also try soaking the brush in a hot solution of wallpaper cleaning powder, or c. Tea (tri-sodium phosphate). wear rubber gloves. use a long tooth comb dog hair metal to work out, then rinse with cold water under pressure. repeated soaks may be necessary for a thorough cleaning
I use warm / hot water and shampoo in a bucket and soak. Once they have soaked for a good 10 minuets then start scrubbing!
I did all my brushes are about one week. The weather was very cold and soapy water worm felt so good:)
Good luck! :)
