Anyone know of any horse rescue centers in the United Kingdom? I know that Blue Cross and horseworld. others?
there are hundreds!
ILPH (or WHW as they changed their name to)
RSPCA
society of former combatants on horseback
BHS
Several breed associations have their own emergency centers.
Over hundreds of small rooms.
It depends on the location you live. There are many charities that repatriate racehorses, but they could be a bit fiery, if all you want is a hack ploddy. :)
So if you, re trying to repatriate a horse from a charity they want to inspect your premises anually and insist on a credit check or a financial statement and perhaps some references before you leave have one.
Have you tried googling, see link
Remember the Red Wings!

Many relief centers in here do not sell the horses, rather than maintaining the property and loans for new homes on long term lease - that way they always keep an eye on their animals and if the new home fall weather (such as job losses), they can take the animal back.
Contact your local RSPCA and see this horse rescue with whom they work, many have no place to house the horses to work closely with local rescue if any seizures or cases of abandonment rise.
Wood Green Animal Shelter usually has a certain ... but it is more focused on dogs cats and rodents .... but yes, they usually get 1 or 2 ... More than one so you have to consider the nearest 2 you
It depends on what you are looking for, but replacement of horse racing could be an option:
