How can I make this kitten packaging son pieces of cardboard aound? Our mother was a great crocheter and did other crafts son. Mom made this little kitten from son. He had wrapped 21 7 1 / 4 "by 1 1 / 4" pieces of cardboard with wire, then put these together to make this kitten. we can not remember how to put them together. Do you know where I can find how to do this,
Years back we did poodles long "tassels".
To make tassels we had a wooden form, as a rule with a long hole in the middle.
wrapped around you until the entire length was a layer of wool.
So you had to sew if the layer of wool and the hole and the layer of the other side. I think we have used the wire to the seam or sewing, so you can fold the cake later.
To get out of shape you have cut the wool on the edge of the "rule". (2 layers of plywood?)
For a poodle you used 4 pompoms. A rope to the tail, shaped a bit to the head, neck and body, one through him to his ears. The two other cases the shape of a horseshoe and sewn on the sides of the body for legs.
I know this is not what you want, but it can trigger your memory.
It appears that your mother made woolen tassels around carton (then delete, tie around the center of the plate all rounded ends and lint).
