A Place Called Merimbula, Only in Australia Find Merimbula accommodation was not so easy. We were at "down under" last year and did a road trip. Na I know that Australia has much to offer tourists and travelers. Australia is a big continent with few inhabitants, so to speak. Merimbula is a small coastal town on the Far South Coast or Sapphire Coast of New South Wales, Australia. Merimbula is practically a day's drive of the three capitals on the south east coast - 470 km. south of Sydney, 585 Kms. east of Melbourne and a mere 247 Kms. southeast of Canberra.
Merimbula has its own airport in Merimbula Airport has daily flights from Sydney and Melbourne. But if you want to have fun and enjoy the scenery, you can go on a roadtrip that takes 6-7 hours of travel either Sydney or Melbourne.
Merimbula has a lot of motor lodges and motels rather than the luxury hotels. The place is mainly with five beaches great for surfing, kitesurfing and other watersports. Merimbula has its own theme park called Magic Mountain, ten pin bowling called Top Fun and mini-golf and Zone 3 Laser maze. The Merimbula Wharf has its own aquarium full of sea creatures on the Sapphire Coast. I could not forget also the Palace Potorro which is a natural park that has a collection of indigenous species.
Finding a suitable accommodation in Merimbula is easy. There are many beautiful hotels and motels to choose from. People in Merimbula are very accommodating and they really value tourists in their city.
An event that attracts many people to Merimbula Jazz Festival is the annual Merimbula which falls on the first week of June Jazz lovers will enjoy a weekend of fun and entertainment through more than one hundred participants jazz band.
The best time of year to go to Merimbula is during the summer where people have their holdidays Beach Merimbula . I'm going back to Merimbula next year and spend more time and enjoy the best accommodation Merimbula .
