Mountain Horse BootsChoosing the right riding Equestrain Shoes

The term equestrian may sound alien to those who do not ride. It is a Latin term that is used to refer to a member of the Equestrian Order. This is one of the highest order in ancient Rome. Today it is more or less used to designate any person riding a horse. It is common to see terms such as equestrian footwear, equestrian clothing, equestrian stables and so forth - that are all related to riding.

Choosing the right horse riding shoes is similar to choosing other types of shoes. The first thing you should be clear, is to know the type of horse activity you can participate in.

For example, if you go for riding sports, you can choose low-cut horse riding boots. These boots are easier to carry and install looser. They are more comfortable to wear, assuming that there will be no vigorous movements during occasional horse riding sessions.

If you go for mountain riding, you'll need shoes more severe. In this case, it may be a better idea to choose mountain shoes high cut. These boots are usually made from treated leather. They are built to withstand dirt, water and mud. Thus, you can expect to be more durable.

For special events such as horse riding or horse shows riding tournaments, there are special shoes. The type of shoes you choose for a horse show depends heavily on the overall style of the show. If it is an English style show, you should wear boots English style. English horse riding boots are known to be well adjusted.

If you take part in a horse race of the West, you may want to wear western style boots. These boots are usually mid-calf, and they are not as strong as English style boots.

As you can see, there are essentially three categories of riding boots, you can choose. There are low-cut boots for riding sports, mid-calf boots for horseback riding western style, and knee boots for horseback riding English style. The key here is to remember that ultimately your choice of riding boots will depend largely on your personal preferences. This means that you should choose shoes that you feel most comfortable in.

Comfort should always be the first priority. This should not be a major concern because most equestrian sports shoes these days are very comfortable to wear because they are made of resilient materials such as rubber and leather. The more you wear these boots, they become more comfortable.

In addition, the modern horse riding boots nowadays also look very fashionable, especially low-cut. Thus, when choosing the perfect pair of riding boots, remember to choose something you really like. Perhaps that will make your riding experience more enjoyable, you feel both comfortable and proud to be in your new horse riding boots.
