Pie Bird

I found a chicken Porceliner streached with mouth open, there is a hole in the mouth down and bottom. I was told it's a bird pie, however, this person did not know how to use only what he was chlled.

A bird walk allows the steam from a 2-crust pie and helps to prevent the filling of the bubble and also helps keep the crust to soften.

ps: the birds are also very collectible pie.

Easier and less messy to just cut a couple slits in the top of the pie crust if you are pies.
