Rabbit Cage DesignsTips on choosing an ideal indoor rabbit cage

Can you describe the feeling when you see a rabbit? Do you have a rabbit as a pet? Do you think? Most of us that animal very - very cute whatever you're a boy or a girl, big or small, young and / or adults.

Are you sure you want to get a rabbit, or if you already have one, the things that you think are keeping them. Inside or outside? There are good and bad about keeping them indoors or outdoors.

If you are breeding them outdoors, the first thing you need to make sure your lawn is to save all predators. Rabbit are easily disturbed and frightened by dogs and cats too. You must provide a place for them to hide in the cage. And this place will place warm when it's rain or when it's cold. Provide enough space for them in the cage and clean it regularly. Do not forget to provide a litter box a corner for them to do their business.

However, if you tend to keep them inside, you can be sure that the rabbit is also a clean animal. They can also be easily litter train. But you must give them a proper place in the house so you do not keep jumping freely all the time in the house. They tend to chew everything in the house, including the electrical cord can be dangerous for the rabbit to man. There are cases where the homes burned by this.

Fortunately, there are many tenements within select with different design and character. The only thing that makes it difficult for us is that there are too many of them.

To help you choose a rabbit cage inside ideal for your rabbit, I listed the basic characters that must be considered before getting one.

1) Size
Often, we had the question about what is an ideal size for our pet rabbit to fit in the inner cage. Usually, the manufacturer will give you the idea / information, but often they are too small for our rabbit.

The basic idea is to have your cage 5 times the size of your rabbit or small 100cm/1kg rabbit. It is advisable to buy the largest size possible, so that your rabbit has enough space to roam.

2) Height
The minimum height of a cage Indoor Rabbit would be about 40cm, but this should serve as a guide. You should check every time your rabbit to stand up straight, the ears do not touch the top. This will assist in decision-making. If you have any doubt, go for the larger cage.

3) Floor / Base
Try to avoid wire down. This irritates rabbit and may cause injury. The basis of an indoor rabbit cage should be solid. If you have already purchased a wired cage down rabbit covered up something on the bottom as a towel, mat grass or several pieces of newspaper to your rabbit safe. (Most of the inner cage Rabbit are generally wired to bottom, so you need to put something inside of something that is easily washable or replaceable)

4) door of the cage
For rabbits easy access to the outside, the door of the cage must be large. It is better / beneficial if your cage door serves as a ramp together but again avoid ramp wired. You can cover it with something solid if you have no other choice (same as what we covered in floor / base above.

5) Litter Box
A rabbit can be trained to go to the toilet and a litter box will allow this. Rabbit pets are clean and you must provide a litter box in and out of the cage.

And last but not least, consider this, even with the largest cage Indoor Rabbit, you must leave your bunny roaming and hopping around to the rabbit at ease with yourself and the surroundings. That would give them much needed exercise and give you the full enjoyment of owning and loving your wonderful rabbit.

All this give you an idea of a room suitable for your rabbit Rabbit Cage. I wish you good luck and take good care of your rabbit.
