Rabbit Cage Questions for people who really know about rabbits and rabbit supplies.? I have a very large rabbit, it is mainly a combination, and has almost surpassed his cage (about 40 inches by 18 inches). I'm looking for a very large cage, but only with a large enough space seems to be made and shipped only in Europe. I'm looking for something at least 42 inches by 24 inches or more, and with relatively little chance. If anyone knows of one that might help my "little" bunny find a nicer house, please send us a reply! Any thoughts (serious) on this are greatly appreciated! +)
I always found it difficult to find good rabbit cages. Many of them have funds wire are not good for your rabbit's feet, especially for a bigger rabbit. So because of that I use cages for dogs instead. They have cages big enough for a German shepherd and I am sure they have one that works for your rabbit. My Holland Lop has a dog cage for medium size and is the perfect size for her. I do not feel bad if I do not get let go if I am sick or late for work because she has plenty of room to exercise.
Here are the cages I speak:

I know that it is the United Kingdom, but you can get at any farm shop (Rural King, King Farm Supply Tracker, etc. ..). You can also get them at Petco but they are much more expensive.
I really hope this helped!
Silly Might sound, but have you tried to watch instead of chicken Loved that they tend to be larger? I have a friend who used it as a solution to his problem rabbit bumper;)
I know how it can be difficult to get a cage large enough for the rabbit. Have you thought of having your cage made from scratch? I had all my rabbits cage maded over the many years that I've had. I have a rabbit in a gaint Teir February 9 ft cage. I designed it myself. It's easy to do.
If you do not like this idea or did not have time maybe you should look at the dog houses / kennels. I suggested to my girlfriend, she got a kennel of dogs, good-sized Internet.
Good luck!
hutch might be better for your rabbit, they are generally larger than 40x20 and are better built than a standard cage, but more expensive. If you know someone who is handy, they can even build one themselves using a tray that slides in and out can, wire and wood. You can also retrieve the cage of a double standard wire story that offers a greater margin of your rabbit. Talk to a few pet stores in your area, they can give you recommendations on things you might not be aware of that are within your budget. Buying things abroad is expensive, you pay a lot for shipping.
You have several very good American companies to choose from. A personal favorite is KW Cages. They provide rabbit house, lovers, and rabbit with industry and building houses and rabbit. They ship flat packed. Establish cages is easy. Their cages will last a lifetime. They might not be "enough", as Marchioro cages but they are quality and better designed to get your rabbit in and out of his cage. Cleaning could not be simpler (easier than cleaning cages Marchioro).
If the cage should be kept in our house, I'd go for one of their models of rabbit home and add their legs and sturdy casters option. Ask them to add cage floor support for your shipment if your rabbit is a great race of giants (9-16 lbs + adult). All other rabbit supplies can be purchased from them so it's really a single window.
Although most exhibitors keeping large breeds in cages 30x36, 42x30 and giants, they take their rabbits and let them run. So what size should be sufficient even for the largest Bree.
