Rabbit Grooming

Rabbit GroomingGrooming Rabbit

I have 5 rabbits, I'll be showing at the county fair in a few weeks. I want to know if there is anything I can do to get into better shape showing. Plus I like to find an easy way to groom. What kind of comb do you use them. I have 2 mini lops, mini rex, dwarf Netherlands, American Fuzzy Lop and. I think if I can find a good comb for branches and mini-dwarf, I'll be with them. What should I do for the mini rex? His winter coat is always on, and it does not feel like a rex. All I can do?

Thank you!

Well, here's my two cents. I work in a grooming shop, but we groom dogs and cats. However, Guinea pigs have four at home and do a lot of care from their overprotective mother, tell me.

The first thing I would do is cut the nails. You can use a nail clipper of man, but I recommend either investing in a pair of cut-cat (they look like scissors) or a pair of guillotine cut - both can be found in a pet store company.

Regarding their fur goes, I get a good brush, rubber brush and a wax. The rubber brush (I actually have a Zoom Groom for cats) is really good for removing dead undercoat. The smooth brush is good for removing any tangles or mats (if you have a serious mat you must remove with a comb greyhound). All these elements can also be found in the alley in a grooming shop for pets.

I do not know if that helps at all, but perhaps it at least give you some ideas. Good luck!
