What can I use for reptile skins? I was wondering if anyone has cool ideas. Are there ways to make a reptile skin on the cheap, easy and always seems kind of Nice? I thought a clay pot cut in half as top-down, then lay it on its side in the tank. I was also going to use an empty butter and cut a hole to hide damp. What do you think? And have you any ideas neat?
Yeah! Your ideas are good, thats what a lot people do PF.

You could buy a coconut from your local store, it is hollow and carve a hole in it too ...
uuummm ... I use for my windshield snakes haha
My corn snake ALWAYS curl up in a cardboard tube standard.
You can do anything with a little imagination ... finicky reptiles arent really what it is so they can hide in it to feel safe. Its quite what you think looks better!

When I got my bull snake, I took a pottery class, and threw a nice skin for it, but it is much too big for her now ... it is still used occasionally for any smaller snakes, we ... If you use something frozen, just be sure it is a glaze FOODSAFE ... If you can not eat or drink out of it, your pets probably should not live there.
I usually use various plastic containers such as tanks own butter, and rolls of toilet paper. The pot is very good idea and is more aesthetic.
bowls (like the ones you eat) with a hole (sanding sharp edges)
