Can I give my bearded dragon pellets and I can put on Reptivite salad every day? He is 4 months 11 inches long from head to tail
I give the meatballs says that if you feed the food that you do not need any other supplements
He said they have 29% protein
and vitamin D3 Reptivite
Not the pellets only. No categorical. The pellet diets are simply not long enough to know if they are reliable as the sole source of nutrition for your Beardie. They are beautiful as an additional source of nutrition, but only as an additional source.
You do not put food on Reptivite your Beardie everyday. Only 2-3 times a week is fine. It is possible for a Beardie have too much of a good thing. In addition, Reptivite contains phosphorus, which can be toxic if given in the frequency too high.
Overall, stick with the cricket and the vegetarian diet.
Personally, I dislike the pellets and not mine never eat them. I have stored or used for food cricket where I had them. Fresh is always best. He needs only 80% protein and 20% of Greens and vegetables grow in good health.
I personally never believe anything on a label that I found in a pet store .. but anyway, it is always best to stick to fresh vegetables and bugs except for the health of your pet, but keep your diet interesting. It would be tiresome than eating the same thing every day .. Besides, they love their bugs.
The granules are ok but the bugs and vegetables is the best thing for an individual Beardy a baby!
They eat pellets in the wild NO. So there is your answer.
