Experience with Clearspan rides? We consiering building a small indoor arena and are likely to make a "83 X 160 'building Clearspan coated fabric. Does anyone have experience with them, and comment on their quality, ease of construction, sustainability and what it is like riding in one?
Um ok. My coach had his barn as a barn built Clearspan. Details: With regard to the quality ... They are pretty good, and they remain relatively clean, we have never had quality problems. Regarding construction: When ours was put in place, they (workers) went out and got everything set up and usable in a single day. We were able to pit the next day. (FYI: we used a Clearspan our arena and barn, all under one roof). With regard to sustainability: At about the same as quality. No problems. They hold up very well in the elements! (We had a smaller Clearspan we used a run-in in the grazing horses, and he held it up in a tornado weather.) Finally, under an electoral Clearspan Pretty nice. The bright, white-canvas roof material allows plenty of light in the same later in the evening (the light of the moon comes through). The only disadvantage of riding under a Clearspan is that in bad weather, it is very strong. With the wind and rain combined hardware cloth issued there is a tsunami coming. However, this is not necessarily a disadvantage if you like listening to the rain, you have a bombproof horse, or you drive yourself (not to lecture or something like that) and it is not necessary to be able to hear any person. Otherwise, I would say Clearspan equestrian trails are definitely worth the money, and fun to drive in.
Hope that helped a bit! (:
