Scented Cat Litter

Scented Cat LitterIs cat litter scented bad for cats if they lick and clean?

I've never had to use scented litter with my other cat, but my two kittens, almost a year now, go far and I bought the litter slight presented because of their smell. I am also using Arm and Hammer baking soda and that works OK.

Do you think the manufacturers know if the perfume is OK for cats?

I have 2 cats and I use the multi cat formula and it works well to reduce odors. I do not need the baking soda as I did with other litters. Skip to multi cat formula and will eliminate odors probs.

cats have also becuz sense of smell very sensitive if you have a scented litter, they can avoid the box completely.

It is perfectly safe. All cat litter is made with the knowledge that the cats will be eating some of them, so it is not toxic to them.

Arm & Hammer litter BEST!

it depends on you, how often you clean it, personally, I hate cats because of this and because they shed all over everything.

It is safe. I have always bought Tidy Cat WalMart. He had an odor killing ingredients that have worked very good and not too expensive.

its going well for them, they would not sell you something that could harm them in any way. that would be illegal

All bedding material must be completely non-toxic. Anything that could harm your cat would cause to sue the company, after all, since cats do not lick their paws and bodies were in the litter.

Remember though, never ever spray any type of product that is not specifically PET on the litter box or the area around it to reduce odors from the litter. They can be toxic to cats in a certain way, and that will descend upon them and poison their bodies kitten.

Manufacturers must have their product approved as safe for pets before commercialization. Your kittens safely use scented litter. Now, go give them a cuddle!

when those responsible for the kitty litter to cat litter, they want the buyers needs in mind, but more importantly, they usually never put anything that would poisen cat.

One thing to keep in mind is that cats' noses are stronger than ours, and cats may find the smell of scented litter too strong for their liking. If you have any problems with them do not go in the box, you should probably switch to unscented type.
