Has anyone ever been injured by their own dog before? My puppy is 9 months and about 65 pounds. It has a story to go out and be very difficult to take and it scares me to death every time he goes out, because one day, I bet he will leave me and never return.
Today, when my father came home snuck through the door and I caught him on the porch, but he made free. So, as a last resort, I managed to catch the end of his tail, hoping that I could stop him but he kept going (probably because I had the tail and I was hurting so he ran forward to release.) I was still holding his tail as he pulled me down head first seven steps of our bricks on the hard concrete sidewalk. I do not really have much contact with the stairs, but it was more of a head first down to jump on the sidewalk while being dragged by the dog.
When I hit the ground I wanted to die. I was in pain and emabarrassed terrible. I landed on my left hip and had scratched my arm, lower back and legs. Now Im in terrible pain and im pissed beyond belief at my dog.
So I'm thinkin 'is not mad that we do for our pets? I went through all this just for my dog would not leave. Did something like this ever happens to you? Or simply being hurt by your dog at all?
Please do not lecture me btw, I know Im a Dumba * s
I was injured by my dogs on several occasions! In all cases, and certainly in your own good, it was not the intention of injuring your dog which should help you feel a little better ... Probably my worst moment was taking my dog with my bike - it was so well trained, she ran beside me for years without a problem, but of course there was a moment of crossing the street in front of 20 car, she ran into the bike and hit me right away into the middle of the intersection! And this morning, my little weak Silly Bull-in-a-china shop £ 50 my dog used to run barefoot from and gave me a nasty cut his claws (which has a little cut yesterday apparently)! It is very clumsy and is always denigrate his head in my chin or running in the back of my knees or something equally stupid. We're working on, but it is a slow learner I think! LOL Maybe someday I'll find a way to be more careful!
I think this kind of thing happens to everyone! Whenever I try to get my dog OUT of the house, she punces on my face and scratched me like crazy ... so do not be stupid.
Ive been barely touched and my rott, but I still love him. She bit me in error and approached me while I was cleaning it
yeah my dog has a tendency to do so every time the door opens, it will run and laboratory shes a shes so fast and hard to catch
thats never happened before, hope your well.
do not feel stupid, my old rat terrier who hit me and gave me a bloody nose.
No hello, you're not dumb. You did your best to protect him, but the sad part is that he does not know. He needs training on hold and out of the door. What you should do is take it to the door with a collar and leash and make the game Open the door and do together, close the door and do it again. Time and repetition will do wonders for you and he will realize that you will give the command when he can get out of the door. I have not had an experience like that, but I had to get under my feet and I trip and I fell. Good luck and thanks for the love of your dog to save him.
Naw all kinds of accidents occur with pets. I had my thumb nails bitten by the dog when I got there and at the same time for the ball when my black eye Dane hit me in the eye with his nose cuz I held his bones beside my face , Dane jumped back on my foot and cracking my foot, have the tail Dane struck me several times throughout the body including the face and through my other dogs and not to mention all the wounds of groom .
