Trojan Horse Antivirus

Trojan Horse AntivirusHow to get rid of Trojan called Antivirus Soft?

My computer is infected by a Trojan called Antivirus Soft, a fake antivirus program. Are there any experienced computer users who know how to get rid of the virus? I tried three different methods, with three different programs and none worked.

I developed a removal tool Antivirus Soft on this address, this stand alone application free

Ok here's how you want to remove this virus. Start the computer in Safe mode with network. Open Internet Explorer go to www.malwarebytes.org install this program. Run analysis. This analysis does not remove the spyware part of the virus. Once you delete all files that are infected then the next thing you must do is ensure you have adequate antivirus program. If you have Norton or McAfee, you might consider getting rid of these programs and get better. A very good free is called Avast. a decent free AVG and TrendMicro. the bad ones are McAfee and Norton. If you want to pay for software kaspersky is really good. So if you do not have i mentioned his well you'll have to restart the computer in normal mode and remove any program you have there. Then download one of those programs that I recommend. It is always best to run a scan in safe mode. Good Luck.

I just got rid of this virus last night. I tried everything from cyber defender (do not work, they say it's free and it is the Trojan, but the only way to "erase", it is to buy their products) malwarebytes ( does not continue to get "404".) sites and other ridiculous computer in Safe Mode. What finally worked I had to do, all you have to do is:

1.) Restart your computer, press F8 as soon as it starts, click on Safe Mode with Networking.

(If you have XP, you must have basically the same thing if you have Windows 7 or Vista, but only in a different wording.)

2.) Click Start, All Programs, Accessories, System Tools, System Restore.

Then, once the restoration of the system is in place, it displays a calendar. Just pick a date from the calendar that the computer was running fine and click "restore." Now, if you downloaded something after this date, you will need to re-install or download it again because it will return to its previous state. Then, once you've done a full system restore, run a scan of your entire computer to see if your antivirus software will pick up REAL anything. This was the only thing that worked for me, wish you good luck. :]

The Trojans are designed to allow an attacker to remotely access a computer system target. Once a Trojan has been installed on a target system, it is possible for an attacker to remotely access and perform operations. The operations that can make a hacker is limited by user privileges on the target system and the design of the Trojan itself.

The operations may be performed by an attacker on a target computer system include:

Using the machine as part of a botnet (eg to carry out distributed denial-of-service (DDoS))
The flight data (eg passwords, security codes, credit card information)
Installing software (including other malware)
Download file
File Transfer
Deleting files
Editing files
Keystroke logging
Display user screen

The best way to clean your PC is to install trusted anti-spyware tool. Before you install.
