Tropical Aquarium Tanks

Can someone give me all the must haves from my first tropical aquarium and the best fish to have as a beginner! Thank you

Get the biggest tank you can - it is actually easier to care for a smaller tank and you have more choice and variety of fish.

After setting up your tank it will take several weeks to scroll, use this time to research the fish you want.

Do _not_ believe everything the seller tells you fish. all the research yourself or you will end up with a bad choice of fish - we have found itself hard.

You will also need:
A water heater (one watt per liter of water / 5 watts per gallon), the cooling pump, wood or other decorations (a mix of wood, plants and rocks gives a natural look) Gravel substrate I do not recommend sand as it is difficult to keep clean.

Whether you want to keep a community tank or another depends on the heat of the water. Allow the installation program (adults) for two weeks before adding your fish. (Add a hardy fish during the first two weeks (Molly, Platy)) Check your nitrite every day during the ripening period, once they fall to zero, you can slowly add more fish.

If you decide to keep cichlids remember that they should not go to a community tank and Aggressive different levels should not be mixed.

The type of fish you get all depends on the size of your tank and form. I recommend you start with a few grouse. You need a tank at least 60 cm long. There are many different types and they are small, but usually very active. Rummy-nose Tetras I have in my tank. Others grouse neon or cardinal tetras, if you like the color.
A beginners liverbearers popular fish, which are fish that give birth to live young. They are easy to breed and color. Those that I have experience with the Mollys, and swordtail platies. If not then liverbearers grouse or catfish is a fish easy to breed and variety Cory quite easily when you could have a try to raise fry, which is always fun.
You need to have a perfectly reasonable place for the tank on a stable surface. You might have read in the science of keeping fish, such as pH and water treatment and I highly recommend borrowing or buying an encyclopaedia of good fish, so you can dispose information about the fish you have or want. Make sure you get a good brand of tank I often buy products or Sero AquaOne.
